(Durham N.C.) – Nuventra is proud to be a part of the 19th annual Land O’ Lakes Conference on Drug Metabolism and Applied Pharmacokinetics. The conference, which is located in Madison, Wisconsin, will take place Sept. 18–21, 2017.
Nuventra is honored to sponsor the opening dinner held in memory of David Hartman, former Vice President of Clinical Pharmacology, Pharmacokinetics and Nonclinical Development, who was an active supporter of the Land O’ Lakes Conference. On Sept. 21, Mark Sale, Nuventra’s Senior Vice President, Pharmacometrics, will be speaking on “Two methods for large scaling modeling: Cross species PK/PD models and global search algorithm for robust parameter estimation in complex systems” (8:30 a.m.; Plenary Session 5).
Land O’ Lakes is developed & conducted by the Division of Pharmacy Professional Development, School of Pharmacy, at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. This three-day conference “provides an educational forum to discuss the current issues in selecting potential new therapeutic entities for drug development and current issues in drug metabolism, drug transport, pharmacokinetics, and pharmacodynamics.”
