Join Nuventra virtually at this year’s 2021 ACCP Annual Meeting on September 13 – 17. The theme of this year’s meeting is “Spearheading Innovations in Clinical Pharmacology.” The ACCP meeting will include educational and poster sessions, roundtable discussions on a wide range of topics, and breakout networking sessions.
Nuventra’s Associate Director of Clinical Pharmacology, Lauren R. L. Lohmer, Ph.D., will be presenting a scientific session titled, “Non-clinical and Clinical Assessment of QT Prolongation Risk: Concentration-QT Analysis as an Alternative to a Thorough QT Study.” The session will take place on Wednesday, September 15th from 2:30pm – 3:00pm.
In an effort to reduce risk to patients, regulatory agencies require rigorous analysis of QT intervals in clinical trials as a measure of drug safety. This session will explain how C-QT analysis is used and how to use C-QT with nonclinical assessments in non-ideal scenarios to potentially avoid a thorough QT (T-QT) study.
